Every Quilt Is Handmade With Love
Driven 2 Sew Quilt and Craft Shop, which opened in June 2013, was born from a love of Quilting and Crafting. Sherri and her Mother Wynona
began based on a need for a local quilt shop. Sherri began quilting in 2004-2005, with many of her skills being self taught.
Quilting runs in her family, as her maternal grandmother was an avid quilter and could complete a queen-sized log cabin quilt in less than a week. There are 4 generations of quilts on display at Driven 2 Sew, be sure to ask Sherri about them!

BEGINNING QUILTING
We have started holding basic quilting classes on Saturday's during shop hours.
For more information on the class running at this time, please contact us anytime.
Class fees include fabrics from the shop, if you are choosing to use your own fabrics discounts will be provided or your will be able to pick the required amount of fabrics to add to your stash.

The Basics of Sewing

In this class you will learn the basics of reading patterns, which presser feet to use with which stitches and the basic knowledge of using a sewing machine
Quilting/Paper Piecing Classes

We are able to teach a number of different techniques.
Our Teachers are from out of town, so we would like class sizes to be at least 4 people before we schedule. If you would like to take a class, why not get a few friends together.
Long Arm Usage
We offer Long Arm finishing services.

Our rates are as follows:
$0.02/square inch (if we provide the thread)
$0.015/square inch (if you provide the thread)
$0.16/linear inch to apply binding (which you have pieced)
$0.29/linear inch to apply binding (which we have to piece)

When providing your backing and batting for your quilts we require a minimum of 3" all the way around your quilt.

If you have used a Long Arm before we do offer hourly rental of the machine.

stop by the shop, we offer sewing space for a small fee and our assistance is always free
Please contact us if you wish to join one of our classes...we will be schedualing the more advanced classes when we have enough interest to make our class sizes at least 4 people. Why not get some of your friends together and learn a new technique as a group.
